The strengthening of government communication and media quality are key aspects of supporting Armenia’s ongoing reform process. The processes of political and economic change need to be carefully planned and clearly communicated.

To improve communication between the Armenian government and citizens, the EU Advisory Group works with officials to support and share knowledge. Good communication will lead to a better understanding of the political, social, and economic reforms – and ultimately gain more support for them. Specifically, the Group is working with the Prime Minister’s Office on:

• Providing best practices for strategic communication planning;
• Improving operational communication skills through training sessions;
• Improving the quality of Armenian mass media through strategic advice.
